I have pottered in my workroom.

I had a phone call from the farmer who supplies us with wood for the winters. He Will start delivering this year's wood in a week or 2.
No trees on the ground near you that you could get for free, plus a bit of work?

Mrs G mobile phone is beginning to give trouble so I went on line to see what's on offer. I was amazed to see that some of them are more than a 1000 pounds !! Who, in his right mind, is going to spend that sort of money on something that will be obsolete in 2 year's time?
I have never paid more than 150 for a phone and intend to keep it that way.

Wise man!

Our max is £200 but the most recent at the end of last year was £130 in a sale.

No idea what these expensive phones fundamentally do that is different to the ones we use here.

The latest Google flip phones can cost in excess of £2k! - astonishing and what a waste of money.

I’ve been awarded a trophy for being thirteen years on here.Wow
You'll be putting it on the mantle place I take it. Once you've cleared a spot for it.

Good morning, it's going to be a beautiful day. The Little One is coming for a sleepover, I'll be off to collect her shortly. The plan is to take a picnic to Bridgwater Gardens and have a fun time there. There's a huge outdoor play area, acres of space to run about in.........just what a granddad needs. The only flaw in this plan is she's going to be nackered, will sleep all the way home and then won't want to go to bed!!!! 🤔

Catch you all later!

I wish a good morning to all old farts 🙂.
I slept in and didn't wake till 0520.
My plan today is that I have no plan...... lots of ideas but very few decisions made yet.
My cleaner comes today (no smutty comments). I might go to the pub with my neighbour around 1300 in order to keep my brain active.
Edit
I must change the bedding and shove it in the washer.
As our colleague would say "see thee later".
