Good morning. Rained a lot last night, gentle rain now and heavy forecast later. We should be riding at 10.15 but somehow I doubt it. I have my annual blood test at 9.45 and my buddy is riding over to meet me at the surgery after he's had his blood test!

Yesterday was hectic, full on busy from 7.00 onwards - allotment started new bed preparations, Aldi dash, meeting with #2 son's care providers, dash home for tea, up to club to prepare and open up bar for an event, then an evening talk on "The Power of the Mind - language development and use."

I was knackered and in bed by 9.00pm 🙂

I have to get my Cervelo to the LBS at 9.00 as there's a worrying click from the BB area. This means if we do ride the Kinesis will get her first run out in about 4 months.

Was up at 0500 so I fear a mid morning nap will be required.

Think of me later. Today would have been our 55th anniversary and my daughter & SiL want to take me for lunch. Not sure about that but I have agreed. Hope it doesn't bite me on the bum.

Dave in my life experience sadness is an important emotion and part of our lives and just like happiness it's good to share it, especially with your nearest and dearest. Don't hide it away. Great plan to be with your daughter and SiL, I would hazard a guess they know full well today's signifigance and that's why they're taking you to lunch. Enjoy your meal.

Coooooeeee folks. Well it's been raining heavily here since 2 pm yesterday afternoon. At least we can't say that the garden needs more rain that's for sure.

Morning. Rain over night and more to come. Wasn’t intending doing anything in the morning anyway as I have a dental check up in Perth at 9.15. Not a great time as I will hit commuting traffic so better leave around 8.20 just in case. I’m paranoid about being late for appointments. I would rather sit in the car for a while if I’m too early.

The rain might ease by afternoon so may get a walk then.
