Looks cold but sunny later….might have to have another amble. Agreed to do a week of the Camino in northern Spain in June with a pal & his son (who is walking the full month). 80 miles in 6 days…I’ll be doing more walking than pedalling this spring: need to get Mo-levels of miles under my feet 🤪

The walkie hunt yesterday was fun, but f-f-f-freezing 😱 We only managed 2½ hours before deciding to complete another day: just too cold!
We’ve all heard about rearranging the the deckchairs on the Titanic…our guidebook suggests they were made in Leicester! (hard to verify that one). & who knew Geoffrey Chaucer married his second wife in St Mary De Castro, a fine old church in an old part of town?
Recommended: if there’s a guide for a place near you, I’d say they would be good gifts 👍

Good morning as the sun rises over the houses. Today I will help a friend install a printer, the sort of job that can take any time between 5 minutes to many hours. I've booked the council to come and collect our old leather sofa, once that's gone then I can move the EKET storage units that contain our brommies from under the stairs and put them in the space the sofa took up. This is all temporary while the new kitchen is installed. Not looking forward to the upheaval but it will be nice when it is finished. I'd mentally pencilled in a couple of grand for the unforseen, so any underspend will be available for new toys 😁

Good morning. A beautiful day in Lancashire. I've been awake for hours, this is not good but I have dealt with a lot of stuff that needed doing.

Next on the agenda is my exercise routine, a visit to #2 son who has IT problems and then I need to pick up shelving for my new storage facility. We had friends round for the inauguration of our summer house last night. This meant sitting in there for an hour or so, wrapped up against the cold, sipping Prosecco under star light......well alright a couple of phones! I need to get some lighting.

After some discussion we've decided instead of a summer house and shed we have "The Pavilion" with an adjacent storage facility.
