Good morning all, dark and wet here. Forecast is for alternating rain, fog and drizzle all day, lovely !

It’s precipitating it down here, so I don’t suppose the roofer will come today after all. This feckin weather is giving me the right hump.
I still have cold, but I might be coming out the other side of it.

Half decent day in store according to the forecasters.
Might have another attempt of a ride over Exmoor on the Ajay.
Last one was curtailed outside my garage when the forecast sunny weather suddenly turned wet.

The birds were quite vocal this morning around 4:30. They're a bit quieter now, but given the sunshine they've something to crow about.

Had a nice walk with Bruce. I tested out my new Google Pickle ear thud things.

Tidy up, bass practice, off to FiLs fir lunch.

Was up at 7 ish - early for me and now I feel knackered

ABout to get some scruffy stuff on and go and sort out the patio furniture - no idea what state it will be in as it has been covered up over the winter

might get a ride in this afternoon but do need to do shopping
Getting fed up with Tesco - there are a couple of things my wife only like from there and it is nearest
also - the car park is under the shop which is great in wet weather

but it does seem to be expensive and several things I normally get keep disappearing - then sometimes come back later - sometimes not

Might try ASDA instead - and Aldi

Taking the dogs out in a minute.
My first bank holiday as a retired person, I feel as if I should get an extra day off in lieu.

I know - I used to be a teacher and I really object to all these damn kids around the place all summer!!!

Just had 90 minutes in bed. A good solid sleep and I am slowly coming around.

The rain is hammering down at the moment. I managed to get Millie out across the fields just before it started.

The fence painting has begun, I tried the sprayer which is very fast, but seeing as it is a bit windy here I am now looking like a smurf and I am concerned about the white painted house next door, which they may not like with blue specks on.
