I must be missing something, saw it a few years ago and wasn't impressed, give me Jersey Boys any day.

Each to his own etc.....I have seen it 3 times and loved it.
I am sure the Jersey Boys are equally good in their own way.

I saw it with Barbara Dixon....amazing.

Ok - slight problem

I got totally the wrong thing

apparently it was Boys from The Blackstuff - and not Blood Brothers

I was close - it begins with a B and is based in Liverpool

Managed to get away without my wife realising I we looking forward to totally the wrong thing!!!

On the other hand it was brilliant
Previously I had only seen the series on Telly when it was first on
for anyone who remembers it some of it was git wrenching

The day after it was all people at work were talking about

especially Yosser's story
there were actually people with tears in their eyes at the coffe machines the day after that (and ot wasn;t the machine coffee!)


The play was obviously shorter but brought in most of the same stories and characters

Very well done!

On another point

just got home and my wife pointed out that she has been walking around the house wearing odd slippers for a week

AND I HAVE NOT EVEN NOTICED!!!

I explained that I am so mesmerised by the beauty of her face and the deep gorgeous pools of her eyes that I can seldom pull my eyes down to see her feet

Think I got away with that one!!!!

Another good sleep......that's 2 in a row. I had to get up for a James riddle at about 5 but even managed sleep for another 90 mins.
My chilli was a real success, one of my best ever. I tried a new nan bread which was a special at Aldi and that was very nice.
Mo..... do you like chilli ? If so I will send you my super duper easy recipe.
