Done walking which didn't do me any good as now I ache all over and I only did 6 miles, tried to have a sleep but couldn't.
Just put the old black bag out for pick up tomorrow, I'll be glad when we get our wheelie bins, they are still talking about it, but they were talking about three years ago too

Mrs D is out for the evening so I'm going to treat myself to a tin of those beans and sausages on toast.

Is that a Green King pub by chance?
They are all over the country, a long way from Suffolk.

Hinckley football club Leicestershire ground is called the Green king stadium.It is or was sponsored by Green King. I’m not well up on local pubs I can’t recall having seen a Green king pub

Good morning everyone.
First, a poem wat I have writ.

I woke up at 3 in need of a wee**

Good for a 1st attempt isn't it🙂.
I then went back to bed and got into a really deep sleep for couple of hours.
**just be grateful I didn't wake up at 2 😊

As I was presenting my poetic masterpiece I looked up to see a young fox looking at me thro the conservatory door.
It wasn't the slightest be phased, it just stood having a good nosey in.

Coooeeeee. 12 deg here. We have a weather warning for high winds with possible damage to property.

Another pottering day. I finished my daughterd curtains yesterday, thank goodness.

And we are expecting a delivery of wood this afternoon. Ooh and some fish are going to be delivered as well. Tench and crucian carp.

Good day. It's dull, that sort of light grey dull which suggests the sun might come out. We will see.

So? None of my buddies are around but I'm determined to get the bike out.......I always find I'm less motivated if it's to be a solo ride. I'm heading over to the Ribble Valley to tackle the notorious Birdy Brow. It's been a while, getting up and not off will do.

Well man review with the practice nurse this afternoon. 'Tis odd, weighed myself again and my weight hasn't varied once in five weigh-ins over 24 days. Think I might calibrate the scales later.

Tonight we're going out for curry with friends. I'm driver.

Good morning, drew back the curtains to find a lovely sunny morning ☀️
Daughter and granddaughter staying tonight before heading off to San Sabastian by train, with an overnight hotel stay in Paris. Granddaughter is excited about the hotel stay, she's celebrating her 6th birthday while she's away so we will be having a birthday party at the big beach hut that Poole Council hire out for celebrations when she gets back.
In other news, our trip to New Milton yesterday was a resounding success, we plan to return next month🍺

Rain is on its way, the clouds are gathering.
It will be out wit the dog first. Then catch up with some things on the telly box.
I need to go up the road for a couple of things from the shops, and then I'll watch the cycling world championships.
Did someone mention curry? @PaulSB I think that would be an excellent idea for tea tonight.
