Why do you choose to have your groceries delivered rather than going to the shops?

Grocery delivery can be useful:

1. for several years, I "looked after" my Brother-in-law's finances and shopping needs (it's a long story), getting his groceries delivered saved me the chore of actually going to the store, then, transporting them to his home.

2. Son No 2 is "a problem" (drugs), I occasionally order him a delivery of groceries, when he has spent his benefits, shall we say "unwisely"

3. I can see a time when grocery deliveries may be beneficial for myself and my wife, as the years take their toll, but, we are not there yet (thankfully). I think I would always prefer to shop for "fresh" produce in person, but, having the bulky and heavy stuff delivered would have its attractions. It is not unduly expensive, if you choose an unpopular time, it can be as little as £1.50.

Another 4 mile wander done since it’s nice.

Just cut through the woods then up through the Crieff Hydro’s grounds. Kids making the most of their time before the schools go back tomorrow. I tried to get one of them on the zip wire but it’s a bit far away.

Just bought a DVD on ebay, after paying for it I thought the delivery was a bit long...................Malaysia
yet it said a UK site :cursing:
Watched a DVD yesterday Nick Leeson Rouge Trader, I remember a bit about it in the news, but after watching it I found it quite sad
all he wanted was to get on in life, he didn't steal any money for himself, his wife left him and then he had cancer.
He said at the end "I wish now I had taken some money"
