Well, after a year of riding my trusty (and much loved) Planet X SL Carbon Pro, I decided that maybe it was time for a change. This is what I've come up with.

It started life as a Cannondale Supersix 105, but after briefly trying it out with the Shimano 105 components I decided I much preferred the SRAM Red that had been on the old bike X so I did a swap over. The wheels are Soul S4.0SLs (debadged) and I put on speedplay zero stainless pedals.

How does it ride? Well, to be honest at this stage I'm not 100% sure. Unfortunately I've been under the weather with a retched virus since I got it on Tuesday so I've only really been able to manage short blast or two up the road. I'm not 100% set on the riding position (hence the uncut stem), but hopefully I will get out on my customary 50-60 mile club ride on Saturday and I should have a better idea after that!

I think its natural to be somewhat unsure of a new bike just because your used to and familiar with your old bike. Sure youl get used to in due course.

Very nice and apart from the frame graphics, understated. I don't go for coloured tyres but that blue looks perfect with the frame. Hope it rides well; it looks fast.
