The new Garmin Edge GPS computers - 20 & 25

This is starting to sound like a Garmin product not to adopt early. I've been burnt by a couple of their Nuvi releases that way with the car. Sucks to be a fanboi sometimes.

As with all Garmin products. They release them for sale making every one beta testers of their products.

I have to say, I like the idea of the wireless android sync on the 25. I might consider getting one for short blasts, and keep the etrex 20, with the mapping and huge battery life, for longer rides.

I think garmin are missing a trip what we need is waterproof charging.

However, I can see the attraction especially of a small device for mtbers, less chance of breaking it!

Tracking and ant+ are the key features for me. Although I just got a 800 so am not in the market

Bit of a thread resurrection!

My 200 has decided 3 yrs of use is enough and isn't working properly.

I had been thinking for a while about upgrading to the 510 with HRM and now along comes the 25! Don't currently have a computer at home so would be ideal to upload via Bluetooth to iPad or iPhone.

The 510 doesn't seem to be available in many places, is it going to be discontinued?

The 25 is listed as only having a USB for charging, no plug. I currently use the supplied plug and USB for the 200. Will this work on the 25?

I would say it would work.
I use a USB into a plug adaptor for all my devices and works fine.

Yes, you can use any USB charger from computer, TV, phone charger, tablet etc.
