The 25 looks like it'd be a great alternative to carrying a bike computer for on the ride feedback and a garmin stuffed in my pocket to upload the ride later. Which is basically what I'm doing on my commute at the moment. I'd want the Ant+ though. I don't _need_ the data, I just like to have it. Not sure I could convince myself to spend the money though as while it's a faff, it's not actually broken enough a set up to need fixing. Can't see a UK price, but I'm guessing by the time I'd bought a 25 and a speed/cadence Ant+ doohickey I'm going to be feeling a bit poorer.

They're a tad too small for my liking/eyesight. Still I'm sure they will have special appeal to the weight-conscious.

They looks great, but who ever woke up of a morning and thought, "I want a basic-ish GPS computer that's even smaller than the Edge 200"?
Weight weenies. I've just had an email describing them as the smallest and lightest GPS bike computer in the world!

£110 for the 20, £140 for the 25, £170 for 25 with HR strap.

It is the 25 that interests me. Ant+ for the sensors, Bluetooth for connectivity and course following. Plus as a Garmin partner I can get it at £91, without sensors.

Not a weight weenie here. I like to record all my rides to have an idea how much I'm riding and I use an Ant+ HR strap already but I don't need the GPS route following bit of my touring so the commuter still has the Cat Eye I had before I bought the Garmin just for average speed. I could really see adding an Ant+ speed & cadence sensor and 25 in place of the Cat Eye and not bother stuffing the Touring+ in my bag for recording. I'm guessing 8 hours is best case so real use battery life is going to have people whinging. The bigger ones don't have great battery life.

Having said all of that £170 by the time I've added the sensor on is likely to be a lot more cash than I want to spend when I already have stuff.

Weight weenies won't want it because it can't do Power.

I like the 25 but not sure at the price quoted above, compared to the 510.

You can probably pick up a 500 with sensors at the price of a new 25 as well

Im surprised it doesnt do power, would make for the ideal computer for racing when you dont need the extra functionality of maps and a bigger screen plus lighter and more aero than the existing options

About half the size of the Edge 200, wouldn't surprise me if they through in a watch strap mount...looks more like a watch face to me.

Having to use an external power pack for all day rides defeats the smaller size for me.

Also, requiring charging almost twice as often as the Edge 200 it would be interesting to know how many charge/discharge cycles the battery will withstand and whether the battery is user replaceable. I believe someone has brought out a replacement battery for the Edge 200 but even that requires a prising lever and a soldering iron which might not suit everyone.
