Whoever convinced the Japanese government that the US had only one nuclear weapon was a bit daft. A big cock up for sure.

The amazing thing about the two bombs is that one was uranium, the other plutonium. They looked completely different.

So not only did they have more than one bomb. They had more than one type of bomb.

The US didn't even bother testing the uranium gun weapon before dropping it on Hiroshoma, they were that certain of the design.

I've never seen it that way round, every one I've been in is free parking and pay for the bus. Must admit, a single charge for the parking then a free bus for however many would make more sense, but would probably cost them more.

It's never more than a quarter full in my experience. However, useful free parking if I can't do a full bike commute
