In the Space 1999 pilot episode there was a plan to land on planet Meta.
I note they're doctored the infinity symbol to look like an 'M'. Wonder who got paid squillions to fiddle with it in photoshop for 5 minutes?.

A couple of the younger members of our extended family are excited about this development.

Ironically they are vocal on environmental issues too.

I guess they'll turn a blind eye to all the extra server load pumping out even more heat from those enormous data centres.

Indeed. By 2025 the internet, its servers and users, will be the largest single category of greenhouse gas emissions in the world. Were it a country, it would already be the 5th most carbon producing on the planet.
