Sketchers slip ons for fashion conscious me!
I got a pair of these recently and have to say they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.

Every day must be like living in an episode of Brideshead Revisited for you. 😂
Fellow chaps, I'm thinking about buying this hat.🧐

Mmm, which one should I choose if I decide to buy one, I ask? 🤔

Too much to pay for a 'straw hat' I think, so I've just bought the one below instead. I could've bought it for a tenner less here...

but I much prefer the 60 cms size to the 61 cms, as a tighter fit with a lightweight hat ensures less chance of it being blown off one's head in strong summer breezes! 🧐

It arrived yesterday. Nice, but Panama hats are so light and flimsy, granted for obvious reasons. Yes, a lot of work goes into making them, but I think the 75 pounds I paid is enough for a hat that can only be worn on warm dry not too windy days. If you wear genuine Panamas in the rain you might as well chuck them away after, as they start to disintergrate if they meet heavy rain. Maybe there are Panama hat rain covers out there you quickly put over your hat if it's hit by a sudden shower. 🤔

Will Accy buy one of those?
Me I have my pith helmet, it's great for sun, rain ,sunny rain & Rainey Sun.
Keeps me cool when it's soaked in clean water, offers shade to my head and neck, and because of the stiff brim keeps umbrellas' out of my eyes, also offers some bump protection when walking into low pub's and buildings.
Not good for cycling as the wind catches & blows off!
