Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-Boardman - I have a Boardman that I love dearly... but they really get my goat... and there's only been 9 stages!

Boardman himself seems pretty self effacing, and these faux-Rapha epigrams don't really suit him (imo) but I reckon they'll sell bikes, which is probably the point.

I like Chris Boardman, he seems like really nice down to earth chap. The guy's got to earn a living even if it is from cheesey ad tag lines. He might not have excelled In the Tour ("cornered like a tourist") but he did finish it and got to wear the yellow jersey on more than one occasion.
