How much is my upgraded 21-speed version worth then?

I know, about £50.

Was probably big money when it was new 12 years ago, however I think through a combination of it being old tech (Ultregra now has 33% more gears), an aesthetic that's aged terribly (IMO), a target demographic being obsessed with the latest gear and the fact that few people trust old CFRP.. I reckon its probably overpriced by a factor of 2-3.

Feel a bit sorry for the seller as they've evidently looked after it.. however I think their asking price is extremely optimistic.

This is potentially interesting; a fairly nice looking, if not immaculate Raleigh Rapide on ebay - buyer evidently thinks it's worth £300; bids stopped at less than half that.. will be interested to see what it goes to now it's been relisted.

Throws into sharp focus the other ebay muppet who's evidently spent the last decade repeatedly re-listing his Rapide at anything between £400 and £800

£500-600 as those levers, chainset are newer than the bike imho? Worth £300 on own.

Having said that Colly bike has better wheels for £400.

Dunno, £300 for three-generation-old Ultegra when you could (potentially) get brand new, far superior current 105 for the same money?

I‘m off home to carefully remove mine from the Raleigh and store them somewhere safe.

Ultegra 6700 shifters, if that's what they are, are going for silly money imo. It's because they break easily.

I've five spare pairs. Maybe I should sell some
