That's it Paul, youv'e just answered your own grievance, it's because of the Hormones they are like that!

I remember I was horrible at that age too, teenagers have specific needs that no one but themselves can give them!

It's all to do with finding their own independance!

and it's not their fault and it is unfair to persecute them for it!

Wasn't a grievance, merely an observation that nothing in this world comes free and there's a price to pay for everything.

And you SHOULD persecute them for it. After all, they'll do enough to persecute you! In my opinion, it's never too early to start, either:smile:

Yes there are bad kids and there are good kids, but when you decided to have kids you should have thought long and hard about whether you would be able to manage them when the hormones kick in. you can't blame them for the greif they cause you, after all you did choose to have them in the first place

It's a shame kids have to grow up...min eis 15 and has been THE perfect son up until 2 years ago...since then I am EVIL...worthless, old, hopeless and embarrassing apparently...being on the recieving end of rebellion isnt any fun.

Hire a teenager today while they still know everything.

I'll refer to you then, Mystic Meg who can clearly see into the future prior to making any major decisions, eh?

there is a point being raised here which is quite interesting! Why are some teenagers hideous ,horrible urchins and some are quite nice?

I have already admitted I must have been terrible to live with at that age, touch wood so far my 14 year old so far has been ok, he doesn't like when I talk to him like a kid I have to start treating him as if he can make his own decisions, I have to give him room to grow!

It's a fine balance isn't it?

Do what I did and join the local Rugby Club as a Family Member.

You can drink to your heart's content, whilst the kids still do something productive and you get involved in the local community and make friends with loads of other like-minded parents.

That is a great idea I will do that, I love rugby and as they are all boys they might all enjoy it!?

it's maybe a good job that teenagers think they know it all. if any of them would accept the experience and counsel of those merely twice their age, it might affect their outlook on life adversely.

that said, they can keep what they call music…
