Uncle owns a farm in Llanmadoc, I spent many summers holidaying with them as a child, and usually go back every couple of years (delivered a horse down there for my cousin last January, Looks a bit different at that time of year though)

Yes, I go camping at Hill End (Rhossili Downs side) fairly regularly. Nice walking along the downs, great beaches, and a half decent pub at Llangennith. What more do you need?

Cool. Glad other people like it as well. When I sort them out I'll post some pics of the place (but maybe on the 'holiday snaps' thread!). LLB we stayed close to LLanmadoc and it had a very nice shop / cafe.

Used to go and stay in the Mumbles, nice place. Oxwich bay was particularly lovely

I always thought you lived in a Yurt theclaud, I had no idea they made them in blue Nylon as well

Where's this? Is it near Rhossilli?

No, not very. It's called Pwll Du (meaning Black Pool), and it's on the South Gower coast, much more towards the Mumbles than the Rhossili end (I guess about 17m from Rhossili). It's great because you can't park anywhere near it so it's always quiet. An mtb will get you down there easily enough, though.

Did you use the Brittania inn (gone very posh over the last few years) in Llanmadoc at the fork in the road as you climb the hill, or make your way over to the Kings Head in Llangennith (which isn't so much) ?

Some big hills in the Gower theclaud, you must have thighs like an Ostrich if you ride around there all the time
