It sounds like an excuse, it's not intended as one, but we've too many trying to live up to something that they see on the telly.

Can't like your post for the above reason.

A mate of mine ran his own garage and quite a few times he'd have customers who asked for 'discount' so he'd load up the bill by 10% then knock that off when they asked.

I’m a Yorkshireman brought up in York, now I’m close to Lancaster, I consider it missionary work. In fact Ive lived as long in Lancashire as Yorkshire now. Spent the last week in Selby with relatives and got a ride in around beautiful villages but the cycling is much better in north Lancashire as much as it pains me to say!
