Accrington Stanley and Celtic supporting John Coleman wanted to play a friendly a few years ago against Celtic, or maybe it would've been a 'Celtic eleven' as they call it when they play the fringe/youth players etc. It would've been a pre-season friendly for John Coleman's testimonial season. Celtic FC were up for it, as they say, but the local plod definitely weren't! They bigged up the threat of 'disturbances', estimating that even if it was a Celtic eleven and not the first team/squad there would've been 5000 'pisched up' Celtic fans in Accy that day, trying to get into the 5000 capacity ground!
Accy if you get the job,tip us the wink about the game against Rangers i will corner the market in Mars bars and get a deal at a local chippy.
