Probably OK result for you last night. Rovers dominated 1 - 0 against Blackpool. Usually we slip up in these matches. Our next five games are crucial to our season:

QPR (A)
Sheffield Utd (H)
Stoke (A)
Reading (H)
Burnley (H)

I feel we need at least 10 points from that run and preferably 11. Beat QPR, Stoke, Reading and draw with either Sheff Utd or Burnley. If we could manage 12 out 15 I could just about stomach defeat by Burnley but it would be very, very hard to take.

QPR will have the "new manager bounce"

Very surprised he left Wycombe, thought he would be there for life and become the new Dario Gradi!

Liverpool getting ripped a new one , not shocked really . Liverpool way off the pace domestically as well . Probably best they concentrate on the league anyway .

A manifestation of the cyclic nature of football teams.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea (😪) are way off the pace this season albeit for different reasons.

Arsenal, currently flying have been off the pace since the early 2000's and MUFC are literally just recovering from SAF leaving in 2013.

MCFC had 40 years in the wilderness.

What goes around comes around.

Indeed it does unless you’re in Scotland……. In which cases it’s BAU

You don't want that! Listening to Radio Lancs coverage of Dingle matches, all you hear is their idiot fans singing that "No nay never" crap. They even have a 'podcast' with "no nay never" in its title.https://www.nonaynever.net/Imagine that. A football club encouraging the use of "till we play b..tard Rovers" !! I've spoken to their fans over the years and believe me, most said they'd rather see "b..tard Rovers' get relegated than their own club win promotion!

Accrington play Bolton at home tonight in the northern semi-final of the EFL Trophy, with the winners playing the southern semi-final winners Plymouth in next month's Wembley final. It'll be tough to beat Bolton and if we do, even tougher against Plymouth! If we make the final it'll be Accrington Stanley's first Wembley appearance, either as the old kicked out of the footy league in 1962 Stanley, or the reformed in 1968 Stanley.
