Just as a point of interest, the cover of this week's New Scientist says something like: "A bowl of cereal is equivalent to a 7km drive in a 4x4. A steak is equivalent to 30km." Has anyone read the article? I only saw the cover while I was in the post office.

No it dow. That isn't true for all beans or pulses, if any - it's certainly not true for lentils.
