Considering how cheap it is to buy, run, insure etc. I'm sure I can buy several!
Was that the throwing down of the gauntlet, FF, or picking it up?

Out of my cold dead hands ....can I have your Brompton?
wishful thinking ....Was that the throwing down of the gauntler, FF, or picking it up?
There are reasons why I don't buy expensive cars .....new maybe, but not expensive. It'll look suitably 'worn-in' in a few weeks of the dog, family, bikes, tip-runs etc. I like to create my own squalor ....Congratulations on the new car. I always think it must be nice to own a brand new car, all perfect and shiny. And then I realise that the wife and kids would have it looking like a barn find within about 6 weeks.
Already on the second page my friend - I suspect you will be plagued and have to buy several.Considering how cheap it is to buy, run, insure etc. I'm sure I can buy several!
Chains a bit slack...
Oh bugger ....Chains a bit slack...
You've been had! I thought you were getting one of these
That is a 12, the one Fab is getting is a 16.![]()
My parents have just bought a Tivoli, they seem happy enough with it.I hope it does everything you wish of it.
There are some good cheaper new cars out there, I know the Tivoli is well respected at one of the garages I do work for.
Time will tell of course, but for less than 12k it's a bargain for it's Focus estate size, specification and modern-ish Renault mechanicals. I got plenty of sniggers when I got an early Skoda Octavia, so I'm used to the jokes. Hopefully I'll be laughing all the way to the bank!Top stuff @Fab Foodie.
Reminds me of the time when Ladas were on the go.
I used to have one of those, a Samara, quite good, and one of the few cars I've had that anyone commented upon.
Negative comments, of course, but being taken notice of was better than being ignored.
