He appeared in the David Essex film 'Stardust' as part of Essex's band, which was named 'The Stray Cats'!
(Setzter & co have never suggested that they'd seen the film)
As some of you know, Edmunds later produced 2 LPs for The Stray Cats (as well as recording the George Jones track 'The Race Is On' with them)
I wonder what Setzer, Rocker & Phantom thought to that coincidence?
