Reed is a man of many talents, probably best known in the UK, for his role in the 'Smokey & The Bandit' films)
He's one heck of a guitar picker, as good as (or better?) than Chet Atkins
A songwriter; he wrote A Thing Called Love (better known for being covered by Johnny Cash), Guitar Man & US Male (both covered by Presley, he played lead guitar on Presleys cover of Guitar Man)
