I will often get the bike out when its raining....as long as its warm and you don't end up sitting in wet clothes I prefer it, less people about, less flies etc etc

Just out of interest, what are the disadvantages to having mudguards?

It's not cool in certain circles and there may be a small increase in aerodynamic drag and weight.


Personally, I would never give up my mudguards and I would never buy a frame that didn't accept full mudguards. Each to their own.
