I'm not sure what you are saying. I'm one of the top 5 angry feminists on CC, and I am ok with the usage.

You can be as self declared angry as you want but i'll be damned if i know what you are saying.

And i've got to ask, how were you awarded this medal? By who?

I think she means she was not at all fussed by the use of 'she' and 'her' that you mentioned in your earlier post.

this is like trying to explain a joke I fear.

And I have no quarrel with the OP who I think liked my post and responded to it in the spirit in which it was meant.

Think of folk giving their cars names etc etc etc

I found one

Adventure Double Shot - 51cm frame in chromoly steel, 3-speed hub, swept-back bars, lifetime warranty on frame & fork, and great service from a little LBS in Chiswick that's a dream and who I will absolutely be going back to for all my maintenance needs. She was the last one left before the price went up by another hundred quid, so I snapped her up. Got a good double lock for her too. Can't wait to take her for a spin later when the weather clears a little.

Thanks so much, everyone, for all your input. I've learned a lot and have definitely been able to make better choices because of it! Hopefully I'll see you one of these days while cruising around London.

That looks like style and substance to me. I'd consider mudguards and a pannier rack though.

Aww, thanks very much! Went spinning along Rt 4 today into Westminster and played around in central London for a while, figuring out which streets are one way only...

And let's have pax on the thread, yeah? Pretty sure all @Blue Hills meant was that it's a slippery slope from calling your bike "she" to having long involved one-sided conversations with the thing. Just as true if you reckon your bike's a bloke. Anthropomorphising your vehicles can be dangerous ^_^

Dangerous indeed! Especially when you start laughing at their jokes!
