Someone's bound to have made a fretted violin, I'm gonna look it up.

Edit: Ha. Of course they have. Cello anyway, I expect a standard violin's too small. There are some pleasantly bonkers electric violin designs though.

i did see a YT vid of someone putting frets on a violin... but it was an embossed sticker thing, probably off of eBay or such like. I lost interest within minutes.
