Why risk a wicket for the sake of a few inches? (I'm talking cricket here, BTW). Bowlers never seem to learn until the error of their ways has been painfully learnt.

I don't get why bowlers push it that close either, I generally had half my foot over the line, never bowled a front foot no ball in my life!

Nor me. I was an opening bowler and at best, the toe of my left boot might have been touching the line.
