Silly alcohol for a beer or stout.It's a very decent imperial stout. Slightly dry but with rich coffee and chocolate notes. 11.5%. More a slow sipper than a chewer.
Hobgoblin tonight to counteract the effects of a day in the sun.I had a choice of either Hobgoblin IPA or Staropramen lager. The Staropramen won out as it was the bigger bottle.

Anything over 6% is beyond my taste pallet. It just gets over powered by alcohol.

If you visit Speicher Towers, and do not like your port served chilled, it does not take long to reach room temperature.

This is the kind of guff that would put me off a brewery! 100% of beer is 100% chemicals and hops are a preservative.
