Great Ormond Street must have had a powerful lobby at the time to get their clause inserted in the Bill.

I wonder if George Michael had left the copyright royalties from 'Careless Whisper' to Wikileaks, would they manage to get a clause inserted in a revision of the Bill ...?

I wonder if part of the reason that Sherlock is still popular with TV/Film/Radio companies is because they don't have to pay royalties due to Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle's work being in the public domain, so not protected by intellectual property laws such as copyright, trademark, or patent laws.

My favourite story is 'the musgrave ritual'

It was doctured quite heavily for the Brett series but still good and the filming location was Baddesley Clinton.... Coincedentally My favourite National trust house (visited It and lived It before i discovered the musgrave link)
