1st July: 40.02 miles - A tour of villages north of Aylesbury, a few of which had some (admittedly long overdue) recently resurfaced roads which were a delight to ride on for once - https://www.strava.com/activities/9369122558 - 1 point

Rode to Olympic park where I had the Road Circuit (about a mile long) practically to myself. In theory its training for a first Tri-Athlon at end of August. Once at the track I didn’t’ stop for 40kms or 1hr 20 mins which was a good performance for me. Havent always managed to average 30kms/hr for first hour! Enjoyed the chanllenge and its lovely to ride on a good surface with no cars.

Sheringham through Kelling, and on to Wells-next-the-sea and picked up the cyclepath to Holkham Hall (got battered out of the way by 2 lads on E-fatbikes, then refused to let the other 2 pass as they were just dangerous). Through Holkham grounds and home via Binham, Langham, Cley, Sheringham. 51 miles 2 points
