I went out for a 20 mile loop through some lovely Kent countryside at 9.30 this morning and it was pretty hot which made hard work of a couple of sharp hills.

I commute to the station in the mornings, leaving at 0600 to take a 10 mile 'scenic' route. At this time of the year it's lovely being out on the bike early; nice and bright, relatively quiet roads and before it gets too hot.

I did my first 100 miles yesterday (and also passed through Bangor on Dee!)

I might've seen you depending on what time you went through there, I think I was there around 11 am.

Went out at 8am yesterday and it was lovely. But by 10am it was already pretty hot. Was climbing Frocester hill in the sunshine and i've never sweat so much.

Chicks dig shiny tanned arms though.

We went out at nine too - so hot but we went through such beautiful countryside, it just felt so good to be alive. Got burnt of course, the suntan stuff got sweated off but it was so nice to be out and alive. Just wish I could convert my family/friends, they don't know what they're missing but I keep trying.

Went out at 08:00 on the Liverpool Chester Liverpool ride on Sunday. Got back around 13:00 but had run out of water at 11. Won't happen again! I drunk 3 bottles at the finish i was so thirsty.
