Thank goodness for E45

My hands always get a bit dry at this time of year but for some reason this year's weather has been particularly damaging. Last winter my gloves were nearing the end of their useful life so I didn't mind slathering with hand cream before putting them on, but I don't want to trash my current gloves!

My hands are so dry I could put myself out as a hand model for Egyptian mummies!

Another one for E45 - I used it on my "slap head" to prevent dry skin in the colder months! Plus it adds a lovely polished shine

Indeed, when I fetched over to Morrisons to buy some E45 it was around a third of the cost of a handcreme that included the extract of the virgin petals of the labia-latte non-such plant.

I use the hemp hand protector from the Body Shop. £10 got me a 100ml tube that seems to have been going forever.

Another for E45 cream, have one at home and one at work for my hands and face as my buff doesn't seem to protect my cheeks as much as it used to.

I once visited the Boots factory in Nottingham. We were shown the place where they make E45. The tank containing the cream was the size of a swimming pool. I was trying to imagine how many 200ml bottles you could get from a full tank!

E45 as chamois creme here. Using some Boots 'anti ageing' stuff for my face, and so far no dry skin this winter.

E45 for my feet too. Supple skin prevents blistering on long runs.
It is also great for removing oil from your hands. You can wipe it off without water on a tissue.

Unfortunately using that makes it smooth as well as shiny - meaning the water runs into my eyes!!
