Caution: if a clean chain means a lot to you, you might not like the wet lube. The chains looks black after Monday's commute, but it's ridiculously silent and smooth.

Yes again! TF2 makes the chain slide like silk. Will get another brand of lube too, to compare, will use the one I end up liking for the bike and the other one for lubing my garden tools: waste not, want not

I use bike juice and my chain does get a bit dry after a few days, its also filthy by the time I ride out the gates

In case you weren't joking, here's all you need to know.

Having met dan_bo a couple of times, I can say without doubt he wasn't joking

Mickle Schmickle, just blast that chain with WD40 and coat it in any old oil you find lying about in the shed

TF2 do two types -a wet lube (bottle with snout) and a dry lube (spray).

I much prefer the wet lube. One application gets me through a whole week of commuting - 120 miles. The dry lube needs daily application and is rather wasteful in application.
