Hi, does anyone know do you have to zero the Tesco computer after every trip and then re-enter time and wheel size before setting off again or can you keep both time and wheel size and just delete last run? only had it a few days nad it is great except for this not a massive problem but not ideal. There are three circles which i havent figured out I am hoping they are like a car trip so you can store one total trip and then reset jut the trip and not the data ie time and wheel size? Hope that is clear'ish?

Doesn't it say in the instructions how to operate it? I know it's a long shot but there must be an English section

Thanks for the response but unfortunately the instructions were very basic and I bought it from Tesco, have tried ringing their help line but no help, difficult I suppose as they sell so much stuff. Great bit of kit used it daily since christmas except having to keep reenter info every day!

Why don't you pop in to where you bought it and ask one of the members of staff how to set it up?...

I once bought a cheapo flashing front led light from my local Tesco's. I took it back about 10mins later. Customer service desk"Can I help you?"..."I'd like to return this bike light"..."What's wrong with it?"..."It flashes green"..."Is it not supposed to?".................................need I say more?

I've just been passed my mates old, Aldi bought Bikemate computer - the only instructions I can find for this model are in German! I know exactly what you're going through!

My original post was in January but made the mistake as a newbie of I think adding it to a dead forum so posted it as a new thread today. There are two buttons hold both in and it zeros then right one scrolls left selects on a run is great giveing actual and average speed, total distance, best speed, etc but once you stop it goes into limbo which is great if stopping half way or have to stop for tractors etc as stops clock etc but cant figure how to on next trip just reset journey wihtout zeroing the whole data and startin again.

Cheap it was nearly £7.... ok I do live in Yorkshire!
Model is Teso Value 9 Function Wired Cycle Computer Catalogue Number: 200-8277
Thanks for the advice, but tried the left button for 2 and several seconds but still no jo!y

On my cheap wired Aldi Bikemate computer you have to switch to a data measuring screen (via the right 'Mode' button) like 'Av Speed', hold the left 'Set' button for a couple of seconds and whilst holding it, press the right 'Mode' button. That resets the trip data and keeps the odo & clock but tbh its more trouble than it worth as its fitted to my utility bike and all I'm interested in there is total miles (odo) and the clock so I never bother.

The instructions that came with my Bikemate were in English and IIRC the manufacturers web site was listed and it was good too.
