I suffered with this for many years as a competitive squash player. I tried rest, injections, ice packs, pain killer, glucasamine and msm etc.. but in the end couldnt even hold a mug of tea, steering wheel or anything at all as my grip went totally. I am fortunate to have private health care, and they cut out a small superficial muscle on my lower forearm. I was in plaster for a week but then the result was amazing after that.

I had this about 18 months ago,did the excercises they recommended,no joy and was still really painful so ended having it injected and it's been fine since

Injection didnt hurt at all

Because they mix the steroid with local anaesthetic...mine was ok for an hour and then hurt a lot for 2 days, couldn't straighten my arm even! Seems better but still getting some aching

I had golfers in one, tennis in the other a few years back. One , cant remember which one, cleared up with rest. The other had to have two injections , but took longer to go. Havnt had any problems since touch wood.
