I recently purchased on ebay 3 metres of tektro brake hose or so it said, but when it arrived it's very stiff and plastic feeling.
Original is very flexible and heavy duty but this new stuff very light weight and feels like on first use lever would hit bars and a nice shower of fluid would shoot out.
Original is 5.5mm dia with 2mm centre bore and barbs are brass and have an o-ring that also seals in olive inner wall.
Online can only see 2 types of shimano hoses but no true tektro ones? Any ideas if they would work..TIA
