Mostly flat, 2 kicks at around 7-9%. I lost the front group on the first, and was overtaken by another rider on the next…

A question about starting: I read it is not necessary anymore to stop pedalling at the start. So I make sure i'm doing approx 30km/h just before the start. But still, at 0:00, my avatar starts crawling away at 0 km/h and then speeds up. Doing so makes me loose the connection with the front riders. Am I doing something wrong?

Mine does the same, just seems like you don't get penalised on the line if peddling. Still have to then spend 30 seconds/ 1 min at full effort to catch whoever got the best start
