Great ride from you and @peterob tonight :thumbsup:
Cheers @bridgy, I enjoyed it but shame it wasn’t genuine. Nowt worse than getting something you haven’t earned!

Apologies all. I think i started early. Got kicked out during warmup about 2 mins left. Re started, re connected and re joined. It had started so couldn’t do countdown I know it was right order just early I think. Anyway was great riding with others for a change.

I seriously need to work on my drafting skills :laugh::bicycle:

I'm not sure but I think I might have messed up at the start and may have started early (or late?) :wacko:. I made it home just in time from my son's soccer practice and only just managed to enter (re-enter after a freeze). Thanks @Aleman (and later on also @bert1971 and was it @Merida reacto 4000 and @Goldwolfie also) for the drafting experience :thumbsup:. It is a bit difficult to get it right, but we managed pretty well I think.

I felt super strong the first half (I think it might have been the adrenaline rush from trying to make it in time). The second half, not so super strong. Tried to follow the train. Managed for about 2 seconds. Then I felt mostly humbled. :notworthy:

Same here need to work on my drafting too but with tonight being 9 miles more and only my 4th ride on turbo I done quite well with @rob01792 shouting me on in chat

Cheers @bert1971 for the pull just couldn’t hold on last 2 miles

Well that was both interesting and knackering.

First part was fine and even did a bit of drafting with Martyn and Bert, but was starting to feel the pain and couldn't hold on for too long. From then on it was a struggle and switched to video mode for the lonely ride 'home'.

Longest ride I've done for quite some time, so just pleased to finish.

Good race, Glad I waited for @perswe there was a lot of drafting from me which didn't help in the finish as he was just too strong and jumped me perfectly for the sprint. Hopefully though I've managed to help him get a much bigger handicap :biggrin: :whistle:

These are the Moving Times.

4th man home for the NC Team was @bridgy at 48:34 so that would be the time in the actual NC.

A very promising time, especially considering the problems Tommy had, Peter's weird Watts and Bridgy's being out of form.

Well done all! :bravo:

Regrettably, I've just notified Paul that I'm withdrawing. Im not shaking off the chesty cough. I wish you all the very best. If in a week or two, the rides are still available, I might have a go and see how I would of got on in comparison. I just think I'm too much of a risk for you chaps to put faith in me holding it together for 3 races.
:ohmy: :sad::cry:
