we have had this debate
it is so obvious i dont know why they let them compete but as it is so obvious its easy to ignore
im a bit miffed that i was beaten by fmpando and i didnt even see him so he must have started late
why have a live competition where you can finish behind but win

i think i should stop his now
it will end in tears or a whorty grin!!!!! same thing really

I can see why you loved it Whorty. I just rode it with your ghost and I think I finished 0.0 ahead of you. Good sprint to the line.
:okay:

Nice ride Jacob.
You aced that.
You were going quicker than me at literally every point on the course, even going uphill for a change.
The climb was nasty but short enough for a big guy like you to keep big watts on, about 100 more than me.
I do fancy giving it another go but I am going to stick to my once only self enforced rule this year and not sneak up in the last few days by doing a load of re-runs.
Saying that I'm about 17 minutes behind you now so I would need to go some to match you.

Doesn't take much working out I know but:
I have come to the conclusion that @JacobSkovsgaard is a monster.
Every time I have beaten him (MSR for instance) he has gone back and mashed my time completely with some monster climbing and descending, the latter I always fail on due to my lack of potential energy and blowing my self on the climbs.
Pep however seems to get a bit jealous if either of us beat him and so he does a re-run and turns up some real dodgy stats (e.g. MSR):
560 to 830 watts going down the Pogio?
It must be a real hard thing to do twice the watts going down a hill as those you went up it with:

To get 830 watts downhill is crazy, what size chairing is he using, 90t?

Gone in front or gone no see.
If gone no see who could you see?
Did you see Fmpando? (someone else who locks his stats)
Gone no see. I was showing in first position, and next rider was several minutes behind - can't remember any names. That's annoying as if you finished only a second apart from me there was some good drafting opportunity missed!

Exactly what I was trying to do. I felt that coming through and off might work well going downhill as long as you judged the through correctly as in BKool you have a habit of shooting past.
I was hanging back a bit on the climb but that left me the ability to work with you on the decent.
That said I was trying to give you a wheel going up but I didn't wan to disturb my own rhythm too much as the climb was not easy.
I only lost 5 seconds on the start line by the looks of it but it felt a lot longer than that.

Thanks.
I was afraid that I couldn't catch up afterwards if Alberto and GoiLRT got away together on the climb, so I took the front on the climb hoping that they would be tempted just to stay by my wheel. I rode harder uphill than I usually would have done and my HR was much too high, but the plan succeded and after the top they couldn't follow me :-)

Feel free to use ghosts when you ride some of the sessions again. I have used this opportunity a lot in this league.

Great ride last night @Goldwolfie. I crashed on the start line and had to rejoin - when I left the session there were 51 on the start line but when I rejoined only 38 were in the ride. Anyway my restart had me about 30 seconds behind on the start. I was never aiming to better my previous time and this was a mid paced ride. At least. I hoped it was.

I caught up the stragglers easy enough then saw GW about 40 seconds up the hill. I pushed on thinking I could help you on the climb but you was hard to catch!! When I finally brought you in I hope I helped enough to get you over the top in good health? :okay:

I was then expecting a nice gentle roll down the hill to the finish but you had other plans! I was spinning so fast I needed another gear or 2 to stay with you. You blasted that descent. In the end you wasn't too far behind @rob01792

As for Skukfego, what does he gain by his bonkers times? Surely it can't be satisfying being so far ahead of the pack and knowing it's not realistic. Or maybe he thinks he really is that good

My first ride last night was a rerun of CG 2 with ghosts. Tried to stay wil @BILL S at the start but far too strong. This put me in the red and under pressure from @Brusgaard and @bridgy who both gained a few seconds on me.

I relaxed a bit and held the deficit, on occasion pulling past their ghosts. The game changer though was a ghost called Jumnana (sic) who was going a nice even pace. I sucked his wheel a bit and that, with the even pace, dropped Brusgaard. Couldn't catch bridgy though. Got as close as 6 secs which was how it ended. In the last few km I was trying so hard to drop Jumnana ghost and grab bridgys wheel but didn't have the legs :B)

Enjoyed that ride though

Incredible session yesterday, but I don´t know why, I was in another session and no with Jacob, Alberto.... without references it was a surprise when I see that I was only 15 seg behind Super Jacobs time.

See you!! ;-)
