Provided he finishes tomorrow that will be his 19th consecutive grand tour finish. :notworthy:

Winners of three or more consecutive Grand Tour

Eddy Merckx (BEL): 4 Grand Tours - Giro (1972), Tour (1972), Vuelta (1973), Giro (1973)
Bernard Hinault (FRA): 3 Grand Tours - Giro (1982), Tour (1982), Vuelta (1983).
No cyclist has ever won all three Grand Tour events in the same season.

I would have got Merckx but not the Badger

As Froome is going for his 5th TDF to match the two men above and Anquetil I doubt it.

Agreed. I don't have a lot of time for Froom and this, whether done knowingly or not, has made it even harder for me to like him.
Sounds like he was actually after the stage win. At least that makes a bit of sense, after all there World Tour points on offer and Sky may have otherwise struggled to get a World Tour Licence next season.
"That was such a tough climb, a really really tough climb. We did everything to try to catch Alberto (Contador) but he was too strong today. Congratulations to him, because for him to finish a career like this is beautiful."

Unless you can simply buy them, which you can theoretically by buying riders with points which Sky can afford more than any other Pro Team now Jerkoff has gone.

Just realised that he was after the Green Jersey as well just to P Mateo off as well.

And Indurain.

Hence the question. I have my doubts about Sky giving up on a 5th win. But to join the ranks of an even rarer crowd?

Na, they're going for the 5th win

I agree about the bars. Shame the discounted frameset with bars and post is over £2k but pretty top of range. And I do have everything else to fit. Canyon given my 174cm height have me in a small rather than a medium which is a bit disconcerting...

Paul, what size did you get and err, what are your measurements? Height and inseam

I should just get the caad12 and be done with it for a few years.

OR
@bobinski I am 5 foot 10" or 5' 11" - depending on the day! My Giant Defy was a M/L size which I was properly bike-fitted for.

When I put my measurements into the Canyon website it suggested a small, but looking at the geometry that just didn't seem right so I went for a medium - which feels perfect ct so far.

I very nearly went for that Aeroad myself - think they look great - but in the end decided the Ultimate would probably be more comfortable and versatile for the majority of rides I do - so far, very happy the decision!

Pep has rerun SC10 only 26 seconds slower than Froome.
His turbo is still playing up a bit.
