well done bill
our trainers behave very differently
i get more of a delay before im slowed
also you seem to drop to 300 watts climbing but smash it on the flats
im taking mine apart tonite to look for stiff threads that may be impeding the movement of the stepper motor hence the bigger delay
begger knows why i want to fix it if it makes me faster
it must be an unwritten rule of turbo racing
I took the flywheel and stepper motor (+ magnet slider) and sure enough wedged in the plastic slider was a chip of neodymium magnet.
Remember me saying that my flywheel when for a ride across the room once when I hadn't tightened it properly.
I had reason to brake on a session and the back wheel stopped and the flywheel kept going and undid the nut, or something like that.
Anyway it smashed one of the small rpm magnets and I expect a chip of it stuck to another one and then came away and lodged itself behind the slider.
It's cut a nice little groove in the turbo main body and was no doubt acting as a brake and affecting the movement of the slider..
