I catch you on the ups, you catch me on the downs! I was putting out 350w to hit 62kmh on -6% o try and keep you at bay. Good fun though:okay:

Bob I was watching how your trainer was responding. You picked up speed quite quickly on the downhills and sometimes slightly faster than AAAC for less watts. Is that the downhill motor?

Also I saw you trying to stay with AAAC and Bridgy. With similar watts you were about even in speed.

I bet your speed profile is much more jagged compared to the Bkool pro.

That's interesting. I think there is a benefit as I crest a hill and begin a descent but it is nothing like the benefit in Zwift where on a 6-8% gradient the NEO accelerates to 65with very little input . In bsim I have to pedal with some power otherwise speed drops to 45kph. I did notice that using ant+ the turbo reacted more slowly and less smoothly to power input. It's exaggerated a bit by the difference leg strength because of my knee. Also, I cannot really describe this but 300w in bsim feels much harder than 300w in Zwift.
What about going uphill? Did you notice? Going uphill the experience is what I would describe as sluggish almost heavy in bsim. I called my ride up Watopia yesterday a sprint and although an exaggeration it felt like it compared to the uphill bits today.
Still, I enjoyed it tonight!

Bob speed up hill looked a little laboured, but for a brief moment you went with Bridgy/AAAC. I switched riders and you were roughly same watts and speed. It doesn't describe how it actually felt in resistance though!

9 minutes slower than my best time albeit on the pro and affected by firmware.

LIVING THE DREAM
Well that was hurting quite a bit toward the end.
Shouldn't have done that mad dash over the top of the hill.
Alos I am not sure if I messed up joining in.
Was 7 pm + start time or 7:10 + start time
Anyway having done a recce of the WC Stage 5 and perhaps putting a bit too much into it after a slow start, I was still get rigged and set up as I only got my PC switched on at 18:05, I wasn't in full fettle anyway.
A good nights exercise though.
I was trying to drag you along Bill but I assume the jaunt around Mongolia took it out of you.

Other note to self is do not wear your HRM band in the shower as it effects it's performance the next day.
