It's been said many a time, but this time it's true...I've got a screw loose!

Got off tonight and moved the BKOOL/bike out of the way as usual, and found a 3mm hex bolt on the floor.

On investigation, it came from the bottom of the part where the front brace meets the centre bar.

Seems to be entirely plastic. Anyone got any ideas what torque setting I should use for reassembly? I would email BKOOL but they always take days to respond.

Cheers.

340W and 380W averages pffffft! :stop:

Can I borrow that Zimmer frame AC?

Worth watching just for the power data noting that this is womens cyclo-cross and not even racing conditions

Interesting... no front wheel!

Having no front wheel makes it all shorter and more stable.
As the fork stand slopes forwards towards the bottom any weight put on the front axle tends to push the bike backwards and thus maitain traction on the roller.
As this is an old cheep frame I was thiinking of knocking up a psuedo front fork that extends to a small feet on a lateral bar for stability but as this works its not worth the effort.

there is an MG BGT in the garage somewhere.

Definitely clutter then!
Seems to be entirely plastic.

One of the things putting me off of the Pro.
I have seen a few images of this part broken or damaged at the back probaly by the turbo body being hinged forwards.
You can do that on the classic frame with no danger of breaking anything and as my setup is a stable as it needs to be the old white frame suites me perfectly.

It's a DAB radio, permanently tuned to Radio 6 music,

I have to admit I put my BT earphones in and listen to 'Dance Music'. Something I have no interest in as I am more classic rock/blues and the like with a bit of 80's punk thrown in including the likes of Frank Zappa.
However the Dance Music provides the monotonous 100bpm rythmn to keep the cadence going an the rest just fades intom the back ground.

6 music has a good range, while on the turbo tonight I caught some of these http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06yghhh

Having got it working for the KICKR, it seems likely that they will sort it for the very popular Tacx trainers as well. Fingers crossed for you, I remember from when I had a bkool pro that the rests on the downhills were so important ...

Of course, if they fix it before the handicap race you'll have to start alongside Jacob...

Just trying to keep up my reputation!

Hi, thought I'd pitch in. I have a Tacx Neo Smart and everything works perfectly fine for me up hills and down. The important thing is to use Ant+ and not Bluetooth. Hope this helps.

On another note I'd like to join some group rides. I sent a request for the Chaingang group, but haven't been accepted yet. Any tips?
