That sounds good, I was looking for a realistic Road feel experience, than the Bkool, but also something that lasts the battering, I have had the Bkool about 9 years😳

I still have my BKOOL Pro too, but gone through a Direto, a NEO2 and currently the KICKR6. ^_^ The NEO has a few unique features, but nothing worth paying a premium for IMHO, after having tried them.

Thank you, I was wondering about the features and if they live up to their claims. I think I will be going towards the kickr, probably after the summer and ready for the winter cave.

A Core is around £465 currently here in Denmark. Personally I would get it now. This CC BKOOL league usually runs till May or there abouts, so plenty of time to enjoy it this season. ^_^

Some of us use the indoor trainer during the summer too - it is just so convenient!

Over here the Neo2 is on sale because the 3 is out. I love my Neo• I bought a Saris m2 to use with my mountain bike and it was very accurate and cheap. But needed calibration and the only tire I had was a semi slick.

I agree that you should go for the Core now. Mine has been well worth the £700 that I paid a few years ago.
Why continue to struggle with the BKOOL, we all did, when you could enjoy your exercise more on a Kickr?

The festivities and a cold over Christmas just took its toll. The flat courses absolutely drain me on Bkool. I go faster going uphill than gradients 0.0 and slopes -0.1/-0.2. It does not let me generate power.
Anyway, excuses over, I bonked. I set myself a target of beating Duckman the last two days and ran out of gas.
That was my last ride of 2023,as it’s my birthday New Year’s Eve and off visiting family now. I would like to thank you guys for letting me join, it is great fun. I look forward to joining you now on the live races.

Happy birthday and see you next year

I will start the reply if anyone is on? I am on call so if my phone rings I will have to leave. Also I'm just doing it to post a time and not go mad.

If Zone 2/3 is OK, I might join you. Thursday took me 1h2m solo at 2,2wkg avg. I reckon we can do it well under the hour if drafting each other a bit on the flatter parts.

@Brusgaard OK for me. Oddly BKool app had neither my kit or bike on my avatar and I saw no drafting info when I was caught by the riders of the storm on Thursday. BKool always manages to keep me guessing on what elemant(s) might be rubbished.

Yeah the whole simulator seems to be wonky with random errors - been like that since at least 2014, so no surprises there. ^_^

Installed the beta last night and did the Stelvio downhill. Didn't notice anything different from the normal version during that.
