Medium. I have 2 graphics cards in my laptop. Intel UHD, and Nvidia RT 3070 high end content card. Just found my crap card had a newer driver that was installed in Win 11 upgrade. Rolling back and seeing what I get. Always been an issue with my BKool though, even on other laptops. Could be my mesh networks "smart" QOS setting which are non defeatable.

I noticed a game I downloaded from Microsoft store on my laptop would only use the integrated graphics card on my laptop and not the gaming one, maybe something similar?

Yes, BKool tech team leaning that way as well. Pity as the whole point of a good card is to have a better visual experience. I put it down to bad game engine settings, but who knows given the ass load of variables at play.

Be sure to set the BKOOL āgameā to use the RTX and make sure to update the K-Lite Codec pack as I think these are used for video. I would always use the latest driver from Nvidia, but in a laptop you might be better using the one supplied by the laptop manufacturer.

@Brusgaard That's the way I set it up originally, but -lite pack update is a good idea, let me check that after stew fixings on to simmer.

I was going to thank you, but after looking at all the up and downs on stage 3 I'm convinced you are in the pay of the evil derailleur manufacturers. The cost of me upgrading to the force axs just to prevent crosschaining would get you a tidy little kickback I bet.

I still feel battered after Thursdays race! I did a ride this morning and the legs were still pissed off with me.

Iām thinking about building / getting someone else to build me, a pc for the turboāing. On zwift I used apple ATV. Really the graphics were kind of cartoony so I didnāt really pay much attention to them. But on bkool and rouvy some of the video is really very nice. In fact this morning is the closest Iāve felt to riding outside whilst on a turbo. So maybe itās time to think about it more.
At the moment Iām using a MacBook for bkool and rouvy. But itās not an ideal set up.
Do any of you guys know what sort of money I need to spend to get a good set up?

I bought a cheap Mac mini and it works great. The BigringVR video is great and no problems on BKOOL

Like I've previously said, I'm using 7 year old gaming laptop and works perfect on high settings. Problem with technology you can't get the same 7 years later for cheap, they just discontinue the parts and everything goes up. You might find a bargain 2nd hand, look for something with dedicated graphics card. Not sure about the mini mac or a tablet.

Iām going to show my ignorance here, but is buying second hand a gamble in terms of wear and tear. I donāt mind beaten up looking, but in terms of the hardware do things obviously degrade with time?
What sort of spec should I look for?
Sorry I have a feeling these are probably well trodden conversations itās just Iāve never really paid attention before when they were taking placeā¦
On a side note, I think Iāve just made the absolute perfect espresso martini, so Iām happy to do some type of information swap!
