Yes, I think I will do that too. Looks more like my terrain than stage 3. What time? It is a 40-45 minute ride max, so I can do either the 5 or 7 PM UK group ride.

Just had dinner and I’m almost certainly not going to do the group ride at 7 PM tonight.

I'm in the office tomorrow so it'll need to be 7pm (I assume that's 6pm GMT)

Yes, 5PM is fine for me too, then I can have dinner afterwards.

If I/we fail miserably, there is always a chance at 7 PM.

Remember the race starts at around 5 PM, warm up 10 minutes earlier!

That was fun - no walk in the park though! Well finished in the sprint - I thought I'd escaped when you did the decent thing and waited for the old dude on the crossing at 2km. I momentarily thought I was on zwift and went for the stun gun button.

Imagine how much faster we would have been in a group of 4-5 riders. 39-40kph avg. would be possible I think and we would be looking at 38-39 minutes instead of close to 41.

It would have been really quick in a big bunch. There were a couple of points where I had to make a huge pull to get past you so expended loads of effort. Be interesting to see where we are in the rankings later. I was surprised how few there were for an organised ride - but I guess it's behind a paywall so always going to limit numbers.
