Video available here in just a bit. Unfortunately I dropped the chain, just when launching the sprint at the end, and momentarily dropped from 320w+ to 143w. :banghead:
Think I might have touched the left shifter, and these Di2 shifters doesn't require much to shift... I was able to get back on the big ring, but @AndyMacca had already gained enough to keep me behind him, despite me going at 700w+...

Hope Chloe Dygert is ok after her crash.

Looks like a mistake going into a corner on the tri bar rather than the hoods. They played it once so I can't be sure 😢

I was 15s quicker than previous attempt and I reckon I was in the pack last time so it was harder all round. My FTP better not go up as the downhills make it too easy for high watts
Yeah I think it's the very high cadence producing all the power well that coupled with the fear of dropping out of the pack, I think you should be ok though on the FTP front as Garmin needs 20mins and Bkool 30mins to set a new one.
Did Celtic score causing the distraction?

Ahhh that's a nightmare, I was trying to go a little slower at the end to get my HR down from it's ridiculous high so that I could compete with your big sprint finish. From my view our avatars were right next to each other but I got a wheel ahead on the line. You'd have beat me without the chain issue I'm sure. I did manage 800w at the end but I'd left it really late to go as I wasn't sure what if anything I had left in the legs.

Cheers - It's good to be competitive for one stage a month, and actually ride in a group for a change.
I was just commenting to my wife, who is actually interested in all this, that it was hugely commendable that you always do all the stages and not just the one you can hope to win. It looked, from way back up the mountain like a great race at the front tonight. Glad you enjoyed it.
