Firstly great ride @BILL S! I got a count down, but I am still learning how to get them to start at exactly 0. Perhaps there was no count down because I didn't come to a dead stop until inside the 10 second count down. I couldn't stay with you two on the downhill start and then flogged myself hoping one of you would come back to me as @Brusgaard did. Great race I thought you were going to pip me at the post.

I think I had more than my share of the fairy dust or there's no way I'd beat you two with my present level of fitness. The trouble is that a half hour sprint twice a week is just not good enough to get fit for longer (95 miles and 12,000 ft) rides. I think I've pin pointed the problem now that I'm no longer in denial, and I think the answer is to get a new bike so that I'll have to put in the hours to justify it.

If you do, really push the boat out and get some spinonthese.com wheels. They are amazing.

Her:
“I’m fed of you spending more money on those stupid bikes than you do on me! I’ve had enough!”

Him:

“I’m getting mixed signals here honey... should I spend less on the bikes or more on you, or more on both? I’m so confused...”

Her:

“That’s it, I’ve had enough, I’m leaving you. Hope you and your bikes are very happy together!”

Him:

“Oh man now I’m depressed... Didn’t see that coming at all... hmmm what could make me feel better AND solve this problem?”...
