We can try, but picking routes can be very hit and miss. Can you let me know the route now as I'll need it to set up the league, which needs to be before next Tuesday. Another option is that you could have a go at setting up the league and I can try to help you.
If we have some time one evening this month perhaps you could give me training and I could try and set up April's league.

Well done to everyone who competed in the Feb Chaingang league :bicycle:
The new one is now scheduled so we have a nice flat stage this Thursday before @keithaitch hilly stage next week. That's the one I'm really looking forward to as I've no idea what it'll be like. I don't think we've ever had a video chaingang race before.

Anyway, congratulations to @AAAC 76C , @keithaitch & @perswe for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Feb league. Very close racing at the front this time with Keith or perswe in the lead for most of the league before AAAC in the end pulling out all the stops to win by 16 seconds. Another one like this please guys :bravo:
Next week's is a good climb , you get a very little rest half way up ,beside the petrol Station. I set my age group Kom on it the week before last so I'm really interested to see how it compares real life to virtual!

I'm thinking I may move to monthly too when my annual subscription ends in August, but only because I'm really only here 6 months out of the year. I hope you are still here come next November. It wouldn't be the same without you. Understatement of the year.
I think I’ll stay with the bkool subscription. But as I only use it for winter training you won’t see me from May but it doesn’t mean I left bkool. For all its faults I think it is quite a lot better this season than last. Rarely any hickups and even the tables are updated. Probably Bkool will leave me before I leave them...^_^

That's great news, my sentiments exactly and I'm really half to know that I'll have at least one virtual training partner for next winter! Now if you'd just hurry up and get us those water bottles you've been taking ages to get to @AAAC 76C and me the winter cup we could make a concerted effort on the top 20!

All that effort for nothing!

Well, it could be worse. I did the BKOOL USA Downhill race Friday, with the league ending Sunday. But the admin never approved my ride (nor other riders who did them Friday, Saturday or Sunday). Thankfully I was no. 1 in the league, but it now shows as if I haven't completed all stages, which bugs me!

I stopped doing the downhill because of that very reason..

What are people’s thoughts on the Tacx Neo?

The Neo and Neo2 are silent, all you will hear is your drive chain. Very responsive and any little ease off in effort will see your power drop. They work well in ERG mode-as long as you use inner chain ring and easier gearing. The resistance and power will outdo any rider including professionals with 25% gradient and 2200W

I Swapped mine out for my failing new Kickr and so far has been perfect. They have lots of trickery software, if you want to analyse pedal stroke etc.
I understand you can get good deals on Neo/2 from Halfords with discount codes. Just need to check stock levels

Just pulled the trigger and ordered a NEO2 from Halfords (I joined BC first to get a 10% discount when I collect). Says I can collect from Frome store tomorrow at 4 o'clock. They will remove the cassette off the Kickr and fit to the Neo for me. Hopeing I'll be back home in time for @bridgy 's chaingang race at 7  Be interesting to see how the NEO impairs my performance (getting in excuses early!)
